Working Site Foreman / Supervisor (Carpentry Background Preferred)
Location: Pentwyn, Cardiff
Start Date: Week Commencing 15th June
Duration: 2 Weeks
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
We are currently seeking a Working Site Foreman / Supervisor for a short-term refurbishment project at a leisure centre in Pentwyn, Cardiff.
The project involves the refurbishment of an existing gym area, including the removal and replacement of flooring, alongside associated electrical works. We require an experienced individual who can oversee site activities while also assisting with hands-on works where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day supervision and coordination of all site activities.
- Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently.
- Monitoring site health and safety compliance.
- Liaising with contractors and project stakeholders.
- Assisting with construction works as a working foreman when required.
- Ensuring project works are delivered to programme and quality standards.
Trades on Site
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating works involving:
- Building Contractors
- Electricians
- Flooring Contractors
Essential Requirements
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
- First Aid
- Asbestos Awareness
- Valid CSCS Card
- Previous site supervision experience
Desirable
- Carpentry / Joinery background
- Experience working on refurbishment and fit-out projects
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
What We're Looking For
This role would suit an experienced Working Foreman, Supervisor, or Carpenter Supervisor who is comfortable overseeing a small project while remaining hands-on and supporting the site team where required.
