We are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join our Planned Maintenance Division, supporting the delivery of SHDF retrofit and energy efficiency works in the Canterbury and surrounding areas. The role will involve regular travel to sites to support the successful delivery of planned maintenance and decarbonisation projects within residential properties and associated environments.
As Site Manager, you will provide day to day supervision of planned maintenance and SHDF retrofit works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. - Act as the primary on site contact for residents and customers, maintaining strong communication and delivering a positive customer experience throughout both maintenance and retrofit works.
- Monitor programme delivery, identifying risks, delays or issues and taking appropriate action to maintain productivity and project timescales.
- Carry out regular quality inspections, ensuring works including retrofit installations are completed to a high standard and defects are addressed promptly.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation, CDM regulations, PAS 2030/2035 standards, and company policies, including delivery of toolbox talks and site inductions.
- Coordinate subcontractors and specialist retrofit partners (e.g., insulation, ventilation, air tightness), monitoring performance, quality and compliance against work orders and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate site records, retrofit documentation, photographic evidence, variation sheets and digital reporting in line with company procedures and SHDF audit requirements.
- Attend operational and client meetings, providing clear updates on project progress, risks and performance across both planned and SHDF workstreams.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement and professional conduct across all site activities.
About You
- Previous supervisory or site management experience within planned maintenance, housing refurbishment or retrofit/energy efficiency environments.
