We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 16-week civil engineering project commencing on 15th June.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations on a project involving:
- Piling works
- Concrete slab construction
- Road and infrastructure works
- Health & Safety management
- Coordination of subcontractors and site teams
- Programme management and progress reporting
- Quality control and compliance with project specifications
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering and groundworks projects
- Strong background in piling, concrete and road construction works
- SMSTS certification
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work certificate
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme targets
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of site activities
- Ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to specification
- Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks
- Managing health, safety, environmental and quality standards
- Liaising with the client, project team and subcontractors
- Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress
