A reputable main contractor is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of refurbishment and planned maintenance works within occupied social housing properties across various locations in Teesside. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

The Role
  • Manage site operations across social housing refurbishment projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour.
  • Ensure works are completed in accordance with programme requirements and client specifications.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
  • Liaise with residents, client representatives, and project stakeholders professionally and effectively.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare site reports.
  • Manage site documentation, RAMS, permits, and compliance records.
  • Resolve site issues promptly to minimise delays and maintain programme delivery.
  • Support the Project Manager in achieving project objectives and KPI targets

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in social housing refurbishment 
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, used to working with clerk of works and the client
  • Relevant qualifications SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid are essential

Remuneration:

  • £30.00 per hour
