Profile

We are seeking an experienced no2 Site Manager to support the delivery of a major refurbishment and mezzanine floor installation within a large industrial warehouse in Knowsley. This is a high‑profile, fast‑paced project requiring a strong person who can maintain exceptional standards across safety, quality, programme, and subcontractor performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations across internal refurbishment and mezzanine installation
• Maintain firm but fair control of subcontractors, ensuring productivity, compliance, and quality
• Drive a first‑class health and safety culture, ensuring all procedures and site documentation are fully up to date
• Manage daily and weekly reporting, RAMS reviews, permits, and programme updates
• Ensure deadlines are met and works progress in line with project milestones
• Liaise with the Project Manager, client team, and wider delivery partners
• Support coordination of logistics, sequencing, and site planning

Essential Requirements

• Managers CSCS card
• SMSTS
• 3‑day First Aid
• Strong computer literacy (reporting, email, document control, digital H&S systems)
• Proven experience managing Construction jobs
• Demonstrable ability to lead teams with authority, clarity, and professionalism
• Flexible approach to working hours – 12 days on / 2 days off rota
