Groundworks Site Manager / Foreman – Birmingham – Immediate Start

We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Manager / Foreman for an immediate start on a project in Birmingham. This role will suit a hands-on individual with strong groundworks and civil engineering experience, ideally gained within commercial or industrial environments.

You will be responsible for supervising day-to-day groundworks operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising groundworks operations on site
• Managing gangs carrying out drainage, foundations and external works
• Coordinating plant, labour and materials
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and to specification
• Monitoring progress and maintaining programme targets
• Liaising with site management and subcontractors
• Maintaining site H&S and quality standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience in groundworks as Site Manager or Foreman
• Must have worked on commercial or industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations and infrastructure works
• Ability to manage gangs and plant on site
• SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
• CSCS essential
• First Aid beneficial
