Site Manager - Healthcare

Job Title: Site Manager (Healthcare Projects - Contract / FTC)
Location: Oxford (projects within commuting distance)
Contract: 6-month FTC or Contract (Day Rate)
Rate: £300 - £350 per day

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a major Facilities Management provider on a 6-month contract or fixed-term basis, supporting the delivery of healthcare projects.

This is a mobile role, primarily overseeing roofing projects across healthcare sites in and around Oxford. You'll play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest standards within live hospital environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out weekly site inspections across multiple healthcare project sites#
• Ensure all works meet strict governance, compliance, and safety standards
• Act as the key point of contact for on-site stakeholders, including estates teams and contractors
• Monitor project progress against programme timelines and budgets
• Identify and escalate risks, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
• Ensure minimal disruption within live healthcare environments
• Maintain high standards of reporting and documentation

About You

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction, FM, or projects
• Experience working in healthcare environments (highly desirable)
• Strong understanding of compliance, H&S, and governance processes
• Confident managing contractors and engaging with stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities effectively
• Experience with roofing or building fabric projects is advantageous
• SMSTS (or equivalent) preferred
