About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a residential development project based in Shrewsbury. This is a temporary position, ideal for a proactive and hands-on individual with a strong background in housebuilding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure the project runs to programme
- Manage subcontractors and site personnel effectively
- Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard of quality
- Maintain strict health & safety compliance on site
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and site logistics
- Report progress to senior management and attend site meetings
- Ensure all works are completed in line with drawings and specifications
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential developments
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme deadlines
- Good eye for detail and quality control
