Site Manager Roles and Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain programme and quality standards.
Ensure all health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures are adhered to on site.
Monitor project progress and report regularly to the Project Manager and senior management team.
Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and subcontractor meetings.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Site Manager Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager working on industrial, logistics, warehouse, or large-scale commercial construction projects.
Experience delivering projects with values ranging from £20 million to £150 million.
Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
Must be willing and happy to lodge away from home for national projects when required.
Site Manager Benefits
