Job Title: Site Manager – Roofing Works

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: Mid-June
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to support a long-term roofing contract in Mansfield.
The project will involve roof replacement and roof repair works across occupied local authority properties, so previous experience managing roofing works is essential. This is a 3-year contract with a genuine temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right person.
The ideal candidate will have a pitched roofing background, ideally having come from a roofing trade before moving into supervision or site management.
Duties will include:
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Overseeing roof replacement and repair works
- Managing trades and subcontractors on site
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained
- Liaising with tenants, client representatives and the wider project team
- Monitoring programme, quality and site progress
- Reporting updates back to the contracts/operations team
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, professionally and to standard
Requirements:
- Strong pitched roofing experience
- Roofing trade background would be highly desirable
- Experience working on occupied properties or social housing projects
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS card
- First Aid preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Must live within a sensible commute of Mansfield
