We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a new build project within the defence-sector in the North Devon area

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering works for the MoD.

The project consists of a new build facility incorporating RC and steel frame, with associated groundworks. There is also an opportunity to become involved in the pre-construction phase ahead of site start.

The Role:

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards. This is not considered a highly complex build, but candidates must have solid general building knowledge and experience managing construction projects from inception through to completion.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Manager on new build construction projects
• Strong understanding of general building practices and sequencing
• SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work (FAW)
• Asbestos Awareness (preferred)
• MoD pass (desirable but not essential)

Due to the nature of the project, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check and security clearance. Assistance with this process will be provided.

Package & Flexibility, the client can look to offer either permanent or Fixed-Term Contract options and for long-term progression within the business
