Site Manager - Warehouse Refurbishment & Roof Replacement

Duration: 8 Weeks
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a warehouse refurbishment and roof replacement project in Northampton on an 8-week contract basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining programme, and ensuring health & safety standards are upheld throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site activities from start to completion
- Manage subcontractors, trades, and site logistics
- Coordinate refurbishment and roofing works safely and efficiently
- Ensure works are completed on programme and to specification
- Carry out site inductions and toolbox talks
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality control
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and labour on site
- Liaise with the Contracts Manager, client, and subcontractors
- Complete site documentation, progress reports, and RAMS reviews
Requirements
- Previous experience managing warehouse refurbishment and roofing projects
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage programme and subcontractors effectively
Desirable
- Experience working within live industrial or warehouse environments
- Roofing and external envelope experience
