We are currently supporting a large global manufacturer to find a reliable Site Operative to join their dynamic team at the Quarry. Rate: £18.00ph - £24.00ph
Shift Pattern: 1 week on, 1 week off (Working 7 days a week, 7:00am - 7:00pm / 84 hours per week)
Contract: 3 months initially, with a very strong view to go permanent
Start Date: ASAP
You will stay on-site with all expenses paid for 7 days, followed by a full 7 days off to relax and recharge!
As a Site Operative, your duties will include:
Maintaining excellent general site standards and maintenance.
Cleaning spillages from under the production lines.
Moving site waste safely using a wheelbarrow.
Operating on-site machinery (if you hold the valid tickets).
Practising and upholding the highest standards of Health and Safety at all times.
Ideally, you possess the following:
Previous experience in a labouring or heavy industrial role.
The physical capability to handle manual lifting and stand for long periods.
A solid understanding or baseline knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation.
A driving licence and access to a car is desirable due to the sites location, though public transport options are available.
