Site Operative

We are currently supporting a large global manufacturer to find a reliable Site Operative to join their dynamic team at the Quarry. • Location: Barcaldine

• Rate: £18.00ph - £24.00ph

• Shift Pattern: 1 week on, 1 week off (Working 7 days a week, 7:00am - 7:00pm / 84 hours per week)

• Contract: 3 months initially, with a very strong view to go permanent

• Start Date: ASAP

You will stay on-site with all expenses paid for 7 days, followed by a full 7 days off to relax and recharge!

As a Site Operative, your duties will include:

• Maintaining excellent general site standards and maintenance.

• Cleaning spillages from under the production lines.

• Moving site waste safely using a wheelbarrow.

• Operating on-site machinery (if you hold the valid tickets).

• Practising and upholding the highest standards of Health and Safety at all times.

Ideally, you possess the following:

• Previous experience in a labouring or heavy industrial role.

• The physical capability to handle manual lifting and stand for long periods.

• A solid understanding or baseline knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation.

• A driving licence and access to a car is desirable due to the sites location, though public transport options are available.
