Site Supervisor

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to join a well-established contractor delivering major highways and infrastructure projects across the UK.

Due to an internal departure, the business is looking to secure a replacement at the earliest opportunity, with flexibility to engage on a short-term agency basis initially before transitioning into a permanent position.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of works on large-scale highways projects, ensuring delivery is safe, efficient, and in line with programme and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supervising site teams and subcontractors on major highways schemes
• Coordinating daily site activities and short-term planning
• Ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Monitoring progress, quality, and productivity on site
• Maintaining accurate records and site documentation
• Supporting site management and liaising with key stakeholders

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Proven experience working on large highways / infrastructure projects
• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
• Valid CSCS Card
• First Aid Qualification
• Strong IT skills and ability to manage site documentation
• Full UK Driving Licence
