Principal Education is recruiting a dedicated and student-focused 6th Form SEND Deputy Head of Year to support the academic, pastoral and personal development of students within a thriving sixth form setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide pastoral support to sixth form students.
  • Support students with SEND to achieve their full potential.
  • Monitor attendance, behaviour and progress.
  • Work closely with teaching staff, families and external agencies.
  • Assist with transition, interventions and student wellbeing.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with secondary or post-16 students.
  • Strong understanding of SEND provision.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience in pastoral or student support roles desirable.
