Skilled Fitters - Aerospace (Rib Cell Team)

Contract Opportunity

Our client, a leading organisation within the aerospace sector, is looking for 3 Skilled Fitters to join their Rib Cell team on a contract basis.

2 Positions will train on earlies before moving onto the late shift.

1 Posistion will remain on early shift

• Earlies: £22.23 per hour
• Lates (20% uplift): £25.94 per hour

• Earlies: £30.56 per hour
• Lates (20% uplift): £35.66 per hour

Earlies:

• Mon-Thu: 06:00-14:15
• Fri: 06:00-12:00

Lates:

• Mon-Thu: 14:15-22:30
• Fri: 12:00-18:00

• Assemble aerospace components accurately and to specification
• Fit rib cell components with precision and quality focus
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions
• Use hand tools and machinery safely and effectively
• Perform quality checks and resolve any fitting issues
• Collaborate with the team to maintain production flow
• Keep the work area clean, organised, and compliant with standards
• Follow all health, safety, and regulatory requirements

• Proven fitting experience within the aerospace industry
• Confident reading and understanding technical drawings
• High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills
• Competent using hand tools and machinery
• Understanding of quality assurance processes
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to safety and compliance
• Relevant vocational qualifications or equivalent experience

This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and adherance to ITAR restrictions, which must be obtained and maintained. Failure to achieve or retain BPSS clearance may result in ineligibility for the role.
