Small Tools Fitter

We are recruiting for a respected and expanding equipment hire company seeking a skilled Small Tools Fitter to join their Northampton workshop team. This business offers long-term stability, ongoing investment in staff, and genuine opportunities for career development.

• Salary between £30,000 and £35,000 basic
• Bonus paid twice per year
• Monday to Friday working hours only
• Working hours of 7:30am to 5:00pm

The successful Small Tools Fitter will service, maintain, and repair a range of hire equipment and small plant machinery.

Equipment will include:

• Generators
• Power tools
• Whacker plates
• Small plant equipment

Responsibilities of the Small Tools Fitter include:

• Servicing and repairing hire equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical faults
• Completing pre-delivery inspections
• Maintaining workshop standards
• Ensuring all equipment is safe and ready for customer use
• Working closely with the wider workshop team
