We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative for ongoing contract work across social housing stock in Cheltenham. This is a great opportunity for a trade professional looking for consistent, long-term work with a reliable weekly pay structure.
The Role
You will be carrying out a range of multi-trade tasks across occupied social housing properties in Cheltenham. Candidates with a plumbing or carpentry bias are particularly encouraged to apply, though wider trade experience will be a distinct advantage in this varied, fast-paced role.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-trade repairs and maintenance across a portfolio of social housing properties
- Deliver high quality workmanship to occupied homes with minimal disruption to residents
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of works completed and materials used
- Represent the client professionally when working in residents' homes
- Proven multi-trade experience in a repairs and maintenance environment
- Plumbing and/or carpentry bias desirable
- Experience working on social housing stock advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools
- Location: Cheltenham

- Hours: 37.5 hours per week (fully paid)
- Rate: £22.50–£25.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
