Social worker - Adults 16-25 Team - South Glos

Social Worker required for work within the Adult Disabilities Team in the South Gloucestershire area. Rates are £38ph. 3 month initial contract. 37 hours per week, Exciting opportunity in a friendly and supportive team. Based at the Badminton Road Offices. Hybrid working between office and home.

This is within the 16-25 team, that sits in the 0-25 Disabilities service (part of childrens social care) - but the role requires DoLS, BIA and MCA / adult care experience not children and family experience

South Gloucestershire Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Adults with Disabilities Team. This role sits within the 16-25 team, part of the 0-25 Disabilities Service within Children's Social Care. However, the position requires strong adult social care experience, particularly in DoLS, BIA, and MCA, rather than children and families experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of young people aged 16-25 with disabilities
* Undertake Care Act assessments, reviews, and support planning
* Complete Mental Capacity Assessments, Best Interest decisions, and DoLS work
* Work collaboratively with health professionals and multi-agency partners
* Safeguard vulnerable individuals and manage risk effectively
* Promote independence and person-centred outcomes

You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
