- Planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of Air, Road, and/or Sea freight movements.
- Managing the end-to-end operational process, including booking transport, negotiating rates with carriers/suppliers, and selecting appropriate transport methods.
- Liaising effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
- Monitoring shipment progress, proactively identifying and resolving any operational issues or delays.
- Ensuring all necessary shipping documentation
- Proven experience (2+ years) in an Air, Road, or Sea Freight Operator or similar operational role within the logistics/freight forwarding industry.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant freight forwarding regulations, geography, and transport operations (Air, Road, or Sea).
- Strong commercial awareness and proven negotiation skills with carriers/suppliers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
