Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary setting in South Birmingham. This role is for the full academic year.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs (including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties)
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience working with children with SEN (school-based or similar setting)
• Be patient, resilient, and adaptable
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
