Specialist Teacher - Alternative Provision (Primary Phase) - Hatfield
Start Date: September 2026 | Part-Time (3 days per week)
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hatfield is seeking to appoint a dedicated and skilled Specialist Teacher to join its Internal Alternative Provision (AIP) team from September 2026.
This is a part-time opportunity (3 days per week), with a degree of flexibility around working days and hours for the successful candidate.
The AIP supports a small cohort of pupils (currently 9) with a range of additional needs. Most pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and present with a broad spectrum of needs spanning all four areas of the SEND Code of Practice, including:
- Communication and Interaction
- Cognition and Learning
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- Sensory and/or Physical Needs
