The Role of Bathroom Specification Sales Manager
This is a Specification Sales Manager position focused on driving project-led sales from early-stage engagement through to order and supply.
The role operates across the full project lifecycle, including specification influence, stakeholder engagement, and conversion through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Developing and securing specifications with architects, designers, developers and project stakeholders
- Building relationships with key decision-makers across construction and development projects
- Engaging with contractor and delivery partners to ensure product alignment at project stage
- Managing commercial relationships across live projects through to order conversion
- Working alongside distribution channels to ensure successful supply fulfilment
- Maintaining a structured pipeline of ongoing and upcoming commercial projects
- Driving demand at early project stages and managing opportunities through to completion
Route to Market
This is a multi-stakeholder, specification-led sales role within a project-driven environment:
Early stage: Design and specification influence with project stakeholders
Mid stage: Engagement with contractors and delivery partners
Final stage: Coordination through distribution/supply partners to ensure delivery
Success comes from building influence early in the project lifecycle and managing opportunities through to successful conversion.

The Candidate
- This role will suit a commercially minded, specification-led, project-focused sales professional within the bathroom sector.
- Strong relationship-building skills across multiple stakeholder levels
- Experience managing long, complex sales cycles and project pipelines
- Ability to influence early-stage project decisions and follow through to completion
- Strong commercial awareness and structured approach to opportunity management
- Experience within bathroom, sanitaryware, KBB, interiors, or related specification sectors would be highly advantageous
The Package
- £55,000 – £63,000 basic salary
- 20% bonus
- High-spec electric or hybrid company car
- 7% pension
- Death in service (4x salary)
