We are looking for an experienced Sprinkler Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of sprinkler systems across a range of main contract projects.
You will be responsible for producing compliant sprinkler designs, coordinating with clients and contractors, preparing hydraulic calculations, and supporting projects through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Design sprinkler systems in accordance with LPCB, BS EN 12845, and project specifications.
- Coordinate designs with clients, consultants, contractors, and other trades.
- Produce working drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material schedules.
- Attend site and design meetings as required.
- Support procurement activities and manage design documentation.
- Issue completion documentation and certification.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme requirements and industry standards.
- Proven experience in a sprinkler design engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of LPC BS EN 12845 and Factory Mutual standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software.
- Ability to produce detailed sprinkler designs and calculations.
- Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- LPCB Intermediate and Full Hydraulic Calculation qualifications.
- Revit 3D experience.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards.
- HND or Degree in an Engineering or Construction-related discipline.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior team members.
