Salary: £35,000+ DOE

Location: South West Field‑based

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stairlift Engineer to join a respected and growing charitable organisation. You’ll be carrying out installation, servicing and repairs of stairlifts in customers’ homes, so a strong technical background and a genuinely warm, customer‑focused approach are essential.

The Role

• Install, service and repair stairlifts and mobility lifting equipment.

• Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical and electrical repairs.

• Complete safety checks, testing and compliance documentation.

• Provide clear, reassuring communication to customers in their homes.

• Maintain the company van, tools and equipment to a high standard.

• Work independently, managing your own workload and daily schedule.

About You

• Previous experience as a Stairlift Engineer, Lift Engineer, Mobility Engineer or similar.

• Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills.

• Confident working in customers’ homes with a friendly, respectful manner.

• Full UK driving licence (company van provided).

• Able to work independently with a high level of professionalism.

• A positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
