Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic + benefits

Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with a growing independent mobility company seeking a Skilled Stairlift Engineer to join its expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced stairlift engineer looking to progress into platform lifts and through-the-floor lifts. The role is service and repair-focused, covering a local Southeast patch, with full training provided to help you become a multi-skilled mobility engineer.

Stairlift Engineer Responsibilities:

• Service and repair of straight and curved stairlifts from multiple manufacturers

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown visits

• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely

• Provide excellent customer service in customers’ homes

• Complete accurate service records and work in line with safety standards

• Attend occasional call-outs (approx. 1 every 3 weeks)

• Undertake ongoing training and development on platform lifts and through-floor lifts

The Ideal Stairlift Engineer:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience servicing and repairing stairlifts – ESSENTIAL

• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills – ESSENTIAL

• Electrical qualifications – ESSENTIAL

• Motivated to progress into platform lifts and through-the-floor lifts – ESSENTIAL

• Experience installing stairlifts – ADVANTAGEOUS

• Experience with through-the-floor lifts, platform lifts, hoists or similar mobility equipment – HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• NVQ Level 2 in Stairlift Engineering – DESIRABLE

• CSCS and/or SSSTS – DESIRABLE

• Full UK Driving Licence – ESSENTIAL
