About the Role
We are seeking a Station Manager to lead on-site operations delivering specialist aviation services across Europe.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take full responsibility for your station, covering people, safety, equipment, and service delivery. You will ensure operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while driving team performance and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and develop station personnel
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels, training, and competency coverage
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
  • Foster a strong, inclusive, and accountable team culture

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Promote and maintain a safety-first culture
  • Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, aviation requirements, and company standards
  • Manage incident reporting and follow-up
  • Support audit preparation and ensure audit readiness at all times

Equipment & Asset Management

  • Ensure equipment is maintained and fully operational
  • Oversee planned maintenance and on-site repairs
  • Support troubleshooting and reliability improvements

Operational Performance & Customer Delivery

  • Deliver services on time and to a high standard
  • Minimise delays and cancellations through effective planning
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers at station level
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused service approach

Performance & Cost Control

  • Manage local facilities and operating expenditure
  • Monitor KPIs including safety, service delivery, and equipment availability
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency


About You

  • Experience in operations or station management (aviation, engineering, or a regulated environment)
  • Proven people leadership and team management capability
  • Strong understanding of health & safety, quality, and compliance
  • Experience managing performance, costs, and assets
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced operational role


Working Environment

  • Station-based with regular on-site and field activity
  • Hands-on involvement in daily operations
  • Flexibility required (early starts, shifts, occasional weekends)
  • Travel within the UK and Europe may be required
