Steel fixer – Fulltime
Location: OX17 1TP - Chipping Warden Green Tunnel 
A chance to work on the largest Infrastructure project in the UK, spanning over the next 8-10 years

On Offer:
PAYE basis
On Offer:
•    Rate of £20.88 per hour - first 39 hours
•    Rate of £31.32 per hour - final 11 hours
•    Paid Holidays: 31 days per year (including bank 8 holidays)
•    Lodge/Accommodation rate of £51.97 this is only paid if you meet the requirements which is to be 50+ Miles from site. (This will be checked using the shortest distance Via AA Route planner. Relevant Documentation must be provided i.e. Proof of Address and Tenancy Agreement, Receipts)
•    Travel Mileage can also be paid up to 50 Miles in place of Lodge

Overtime When Available:
•    Saturday – First 4 hours’ time & a half – after 4 hours double time
•    Sunday – Double time

Candidates need an understanding of:

• Reading and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and reinforcement schedules.
• Cut, bend, and shape steel bars and mesh to required specifications.
• Assemble and install steel reinforcement for concrete structures such as foundations, columns, beams, walls, and slabs.
• Tie reinforcement bars together using wire, clips, or welding techniques where required.
• Position and secure reinforcement according to engineering and safety standards.
• Check measurements, spacing, and alignment of steel reinforcement before concrete pouring.
• Work with cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment to move steel materials safely.
• Inspect steel work for quality and compliance with project requirements.

Required:
•    CSCS blue
•    Driving Licence
