The Store Manager Role

As Store Manager, you will have full responsibility for the performance of the store, leading your team to deliver excellent customer service, strong commercial results and outstanding store standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching and developing a high performing retail team

  • Driving sales performance and delivering KPI targets

  • Maintaining exceptional visual merchandising standards

  • Managing stock control, staffing and day to day store operations

  • Creating a positive and engaging culture on the shop floor

  • Analysing store performance and identifying opportunities for growth

  • Leading from the front during busy trading periods

  • Ensuring a first class customer experience at all times

About You

To be successful in this Store Manager role, you'll have:

  • Previous experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Retail Manager or Branch Manager

  • Experience within fashion, lifestyle or customer focused retail environments

  • Strong commercial awareness and a proven understanding of retail KPIs

  • A passion for visual merchandising and customer experience

  • A hands on leadership style with the ability to inspire and develop teams

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • The ability to thrive in a fast paced retail environment
