Role Summary

We are seeking a reliable and organised Storeman to support substation construction and maintenance projects in the Inverness area on a 3-year fixed-term contract starting June 2026. The role involves managing tools, materials, and site logistics within an electrical substation environment, ensuring smooth and efficient site operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of materials and equipment
  • Maintain accurate stock control and inventory systems
  • Issue tools and materials to site teams as required
  • Ensure safe and organised storage of all equipment and supplies
  • Carry out regular stock checks and report discrepancies
  • Support site logistics, deliveries, and returns management
  • Maintain strict health & safety compliance on site
  • Keep stores and yard areas clean, safe, and organised
