Job Description:

Storeman

• Carrying out general stores and yard duties
• Managing materials and stock control
• Booking materials in and out, including overseeing deliveries and collections
• Managing the issue and return of plant and equipment, including maintaining sign in/sign out records
• Operating a forklift truck
• Managing company vehicles, including servicing, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep
• Maintaining vehicle-related records, including driver eyesight check records
• Collecting materials from suppliers and delivering materials, tools, and equipment to site locations

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or yard-based role
• Forklift licence preferred, but not essential
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage paperwork, records, and stock systems accurately
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role
• Experience within construction, electrical contracting, or a similar environment would be advantageous
• Basic computer skills beneficial

Salary & Benefits

• £37,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• 24 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Profit share scheme
• Private healthcare (available once CSCS/ECS card has been obtained)
