Location: RAF Brize Norton – supporting regional barracks and facilities across Oxfordshire

Our client, a leading provider of integrated facilities management and infrastructure solutions is seeking a reliable and organised Stores Person to support the day-to-day management of stock, equipment, and logistics operations across RAF Brize Norton and surrounding Oxfordshire sites.

Operating from RAF Brize Norton as the regional hub, you will be responsible for managing the movement of tools, materials, machinery, and consumables across multiple barracks and operational facilities including Denison Barracks, RAF Benson, Dalton Barracks, Vauxhall Barracks, and Bicester/Vauxhall support locations.

This is a hands-on and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and takes pride in maintaining organised stores, accurate stock control, and efficient site support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the regional stores hub based at RAF Brize Norton.
  • Accurately log equipment, materials, and stock movements using the digital stock management system.
  • Organise and maintain stock levels, ensuring materials and equipment are stored safely and efficiently.
  • Deliver and collect equipment, tools, and materials to and from regional barracks and depot locations on a scheduled basis.
  • Support operational teams by ensuring required equipment is available and distributed efficiently.
  • Carry out manual handling and movement of heavy equipment and machinery safely and in line with procedures.
  • Coordinate waste management activities across regional sites, including arranging and managing skip exchanges and removals.
  • Ensure stores areas remain clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards.

About You

  • Full UK Driver’s Licence required (no more than 6 points)
  • Previous experience within stores, logistics, warehouse, FM, or operational support environments.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
  • Comfortable using digital systems for stock control and inventory management.
  • Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and moving heavy equipment and materials.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks across different locations.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach.
