Location: Hybrid/Remote – Ad hoc travel to meetings ( occasionally )
IR35: Inside
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Daily Rate: £ 650/day (Umbrella – Maximum)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Essential experience and knowledge

• Proven experience in strategic relationship management, partnership management or senior stakeholder engagement roles.
• Construction sector experience or strong working knowledge, including supply chains, delivery environments and commercial drivers.
• Experience of working within, or closely with, the public sector / government environment, with an understanding of governance, assurance and accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex, multi stakeholder settings, balancing competing priorities and interests.

• Strong strategic thinking, able to set direction, identify opportunities and manage issues proactively rather than reactively.
• Excellent relationship building and influencing skills, with credibility at senior and executive levels.
• Highly developed organisational and prioritisation skills, able to manage multiple workstreams and long term objectives effectively.
• Confident in working autonomously, exercising sound judgement and owning outcomes without reliance on task by task direction.
• Able to analyse complex or ambiguous information and translate it into clear, actionable insight for decision makers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic relationship management and partnership development with senior stakeholders across the construction sector and public sector/government bodies.
• Build and maintain high-level, influential relationships with executives and delivery partners, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments, balancing competing priorities and driving collaborative outcomes.
• Provide strategic direction by identifying opportunities, risks, and issues within construction supply chains, delivery, and commercial frameworks.
• Analyse complex or ambiguous information and translate it into clear, actionable insights for senior decision-makers.
• Manage multiple strategic workstreams autonomously, exercising sound judgement and owning delivery of long-term objectives.
• Ensure compliance with public sector governance, assurance, and accountability requirements across all partnership activities.
• Drive continuous improvement, proactive problem-solving, and long-term partnership success across organisational boundaries.
