Strip Fitter

kolt recruitment are looking for a strip fitter for a busy and growing accident repair centre within a well-established dealership in Southampton. this is a great opportunity for an experienced strip fitter to join a professional bodyshop environment, working on a variety of vehicles and supporting the repair process from start to finish.
key responsibilities:

• stripping and refitting damaged vehicle components 
• removing mechanical, electrical and trim parts prior to repair 
• refitting panels and components to manufacturer standards 
• identifying additional damage and reporting findings 
• working closely with panel and paint teams to ensure smooth workflow 
• maintaining a clean and safe working environment 

requirements:

• previous experience as a strip fitter / dismantler within a bodyshop 
• strong knowledge of vehicle components and repair processes 
• ability to work efficiently to deadlines without compromising quality 
• good attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
• full uk driving licence preferred
