Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural calculations, models and drawings.
• Work with civil, process and MEP teams to produce coordinated, compliant designs.
• Apply relevant design standards (Eurocodes, UK Water Industry specifications).
• Prepare design reports, risk assessments and technical documentation.
• Support structural inspections, surveys and site queries.
• Manage design changes, QA checks, and contribute to design reviews.
• Assist with digital delivery (BIM/CDE workflows) where required.

Candidate Profile

• Preferred experience: 3–5 years’ structural design experience.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, steelwork, foundations and below-ground structures.
• Familiar with Eurocodes, CDM, and water industry standards.
• Proficient in structural design software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, TEDDS) and CAD/BIM collaboration.
• Excellent communication, report writing and coordination skills.
