Sub Agent – Bulk Earthworks
Location: Aberdeen
Duration: 5-Year Project

We are currently working with a leading contractor who is looking to appoint a Sub Agent for a major bulk earthworks project based in Aberdeen. This is a long-term opportunity on a significant scheme, offering stability and involvement from early stages through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the delivery of bulk earthworks packages in line with programme and budget
• Managing Site & Section Engineers and overseeing daily site operations
• Ensuring works are carried out safely and in accordance with design specifications and quality standards
• Assisting with short-term planning, programme updates, and progress reporting
• Managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities to ensure efficient delivery
• Reviewing RAMS, ITPs, and QA documentation
• Liaising with the Project Manager, commercial team, and client representatives
• Monitoring productivity, resolving technical issues, and driving performance on site

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Sub Agent on bulk earthworks or heavy civils projects
• Strong background delivering major infrastructure or civil engineering schemes
• Previous experience managing engineering and site delivery teams
• Good understanding of QA processes, permits, and site documentation
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and site procedures
• SMSTS and CSCS required
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
