About the Role

Orchard Professional Solutions are currently recruiting 4 Sub Assembly Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team in the Wakefield area.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience using power tools and timber framing to work in a fast-paced production environment, assembling high-quality components to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble timber frame components and sub-assemblies
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Read and follow technical drawings and production instructions
• Ensure products are built to quality standards
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Support other areas of production when required

Requirements

• Previous experience using hand and power tools is essential
• Timber framing or construction experience preferred
• Good practical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Manufacturing or assembly experience is advantageous
