A well-established fresh produce business in Berkshire is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Specialist to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and commercially aware individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for planning, forecasting, logistics, and supply chain coordination within the food sectors.
The Role
- Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Support production planning and stock management activities
- Coordinate supplier forecasts and packhouse stock reports
- Liaise with production, commercial, and logistics teams
- Maintain forecasting systems and planning data
- Monitor supplier documentation and compliance records
- Support service level reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with supply chain administration and customer programme management
Requirements
Essential
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Food Production, or a related field
- Previous experience in supply chain administration, logistics, planning, customer service, or fresh produce operations
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Good numerical and analytical ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Experience within fresh produce or food manufacturing
- Knowledge of forecasting, stock control, and production planning
- Experience using ERP, planning, or stock management systems
