Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a supported living service in Yeovil, providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

This is a consistent weekend role, offering long day shifts every Saturday and Sunday, ideal for candidates seeking regular, ongoing work.

The Role:

• Supporting individuals within a supported living environment

• Promoting independence, choice, and dignity at all times

• Assisting with daily living tasks such as cooking, personal care, and household activities

• Encouraging community engagement and routine

• Delivering person-centred support tailored to individual needs

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a support worker or care role (learning disabilities preferred)

• A strong understanding of promoting independence

• Reliable, committed, and able to work consistent weekends

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
