Pay rate: £13.99 weekdays / £14.53 weekends
Job Type: Permanent – Part Time (33 Hours Per Week)
Shift Pattern:
- 11-hour day shifts
- 10:00am – 9:00pm
- Mixture of weekdays and weekends
- Fixed monthly rota (typically 3 shifts per week)
- Drive (Full UK Licence)
- Confident driving a wheelchair accessible automatic van
This is an incredibly rewarding long-term opportunity supporting a gentleman with complex physical and health needs within his own home and out in the community.
We are looking for compassionate, reliable and physically fit Support Workers who are passionate about providing high-quality one-to-one support and helping individuals live safely and comfortably while accessing meaningful activities and routines.
Salary & Benefits:

- Supporting a client living with cerebral palsy, epilepsy and Type 1 diabetes
- Providing full personal care and daily living support
- Supporting with feeding, therapy programmes and leisure activities
- Supporting with medication administration and insulin management
- Driving the client’s wheelchair accessible vehicle for activities and appointments
- Working as part of an established and supportive care team
The client enjoys routine, familiar support and engaging activities within the home and community.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and support with all daily living activities
- Supporting with feeding and safe mealtime management
- Administering medication and supporting with insulin management
- Supporting with epilepsy management and monitoring wellbeing
- Supporting with bathing, dressing and bedtime routines
- Taking the client shopping or to leisure activities
- Completing accurate care documentation
- Promoting dignity, comfort and person-centred support at all times
- Experience supporting adults with complex care needs
- Confident with personal care and hoisting
- Experience supporting epilepsy and/or diabetes management preferred
- Comfortable supporting clients with limited communication
- Physically fit and confident pushing a wheelchair
- Calm, patient and compassionate approach
- Excellent spoken English
- Reliable and committed to long-term support
- Full UK driving licence essential
