An established engineering business based in Diss is looking to appoint a Systems Engineer to support the development of advanced electronic, instrumentation and sensing products used within demanding, high-performance engineering environments.

This is a hands-on engineering role offering the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle, collaborating with electronics, software and test teams to deliver robust and reliable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage system requirements

• Support system architecture and product development activities

• Integrate hardware and software systems

• Plan and execute testing and validation activities

• Investigate and resolve technical issues through structured root cause analysis

• Support verification and validation programmes

• Work closely with electronics, software and test engineers

• Liaise with customers and stakeholders to understand technical requirements

• Support product releases and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

Applications are welcomed from engineers with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Systems Engineering

• Electrical & Electronic Integration

• Controls Engineering

• Electronics Development

• Vehicle Systems

• Product Validation

• Software Integration

• Diagnostics & Fault Finding

Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:

• CAN, LIN or other communication networks

• Requirements management

• Verification & Validation

• Hardware / Software Integration

• Root Cause Analysis

• Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace, Defence or other complex engineering sectors
