Teacher of Social Sciences (Criminology & Psychology) - Canterbury - Full Time - September 2026 Start
Academics are currently working in partnership with a successful and supportive secondary school in Canterbury who are seeking to appoint a talented Teacher of Social Sciences, specialising in Criminology and Psychology, to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5.
The successful candidate will:
- Teach Criminology and Psychology to KS4 and KS5 students
- Plan and deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons
- Monitor, assess and support student progress
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the continued success of the Social Sciences department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within UK schools
- Strong subject knowledge in Criminology and Psychology
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for student achievement and academic success
