Salary:
£150 - £300 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)

About the Role

Connex Education is looking to recruit dedicated teachers with experience across SEND & additional needs to work across a range of specialist schools throughout North Somerset.

We offer flexible day-to-day supply opportunities alongside short-term and long-term teaching placements. Our partner schools support children and young people with a wide variety of needs and provide highly supportive environments where pupils are encouraged to achieve both academically and personally.

The settings we work with cater for pupils with ASC, SLD, PMLD, SEMH needs, SLCN, complex learning difficulties, emotionally based school avoidance and looked after children. We work closely with our teachers to identify roles that match their experience, strengths and career aspirations.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • A passion for inclusive education
  • Experience within SEND settings or a willingness to develop specialist skills
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply through Connex Education
