Teaching Assistant

Academics are looking for an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant that can help to support one of our primary schools located in the Erdington area. The start date for the full-time Teaching Assistant position is ASAP, however the start date could run into the new academic year for the right candidate.

As a Teaching Assistant your main responsibilities will consist of:

• Not only supporting pupils educational development but also managing and supporting the classroom alongside the designated teacher
• Creating a positive and engaging atmosphere in the classroom
• providing tailored assistance for SEND pupils
• Monitoring students and reporting to designated teacher when needed

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
• Relevant qualifications or experience
• Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed
