Teaching Assistant

Location: Kensington & Chelsea, West London
Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (with potential for permanent opportunities)
Pay: £92.63–£106.52 per day (depending on experience)

A welcoming and high-performing primary school in Kensington & Chelsea is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with the potential to continue into the next academic year.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils across the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assisting with literacy and numeracy interventions
• Helping pupils stay engaged and on task during lessons
• Supporting children with additional needs where required
• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning support
• Encouraging positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
• A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
