ANZUK Education is working with a wide range of primary schools across Brent who are looking to recruit enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistants to support across a variety of classroom and SEN-based roles.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience across different school settings while building long-term opportunities within supportive primary schools. Roles can include general classroom support, SEN support, interventions, behaviour mentoring, and 1:1 Learning Support Assistant positions depending on your experience and strengths.
Whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant, graduate, aspiring teacher, youth worker, sports coach, or someone passionate about working with children, we would love to hear from you.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 classrooms
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and behavioural needs
- Delivering literacy and numeracy intervention sessions
- Helping pupils regulate emotions, engage with learning, and follow routines
- Supporting class teachers in creating positive and inclusive learning environments
- Opportunities to work across a variety of schools and settings
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children or young people in schools or similar settings
- A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Backgrounds in psychology, youth work, coaching, mentoring, care, or tutoring are highly desirable
- A willingness to learn and gain experience across different school environments
