Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience (DOE).

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and committed team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting children's learning, development, and well-being.

You will work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure that pupils receive the best possible educational experience, with a focus on enhancing learning opportunities, life skills, and emotional regulation.



Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and accompany pupils on off-site activities in accordance with supervision systems

  • Work as part of a team to support pupil well-being, emotional regulation, and personal development

  • Report on and discuss pupil progress with teachers

  • Contribute to curriculum and classroom planning, both informally and at meetings

  • Administer medication to children following appropriate training

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times

  • Understand and assist in the interpretation of school policies

  • Attend professional meetings as required

  • Undertake appropriate professional development

  • Support Health & Safety regulations and ensure safe working practices are adhered to

  • Perform other duties reasonably corresponding to the grading of the post
