The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with students across all Key Stages (preferences considered at trial) supporting learning, communication, emotional regulation and independence. You will play a key role in helping young people achieve meaningful progress while working closely with teachers, therapists and wider support staff.

This position would particularly suit an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys building strong relationships, adapting strategies to individual needs and making a measurable impact on student outcomes.



We are particularly interested in Teaching Assistants who have:

  • Previous SEN school experience
  • Expertise supporting Autism and complex learning needs
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and professional judgement
  • Experience delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach
  • Training in PECS, Makaton, Signalong, Team Teach or similar SEN approaches (desirable)
