Teaching Assistant

A well-established and recently refurbished school in Chesterfield is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join its supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher
• Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions
• Assist with planning and preparation of learning activities
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Promote positive behaviour and inclusion
• Contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working in a school setting
• Good understanding of supporting children’s learning
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
