A friendly and welcoming 2-form entry primary school in UB10 is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them stay engaged in lessons and supporting their overall development.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
• Help pupils access learning in line with their individual needs
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and mental wellbeing
• Encourage engagement and positive behaviour in lessons
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and support staff
• Help maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment

About You

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or nursery setting is essential
• Minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification (Supporting Teaching & Learning, Early Years, CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
• Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and committed to supporting pupils’ development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
